The Little Girl And The Plush
The Little Girl and The Plush is a 22x22" watercolor on Arches paper (140).
We were in New Mexico, listening to a concert in an open shopping mall. A little plush toy was sitting on the floor, probably lost by a child.
Many people walked by it, a dog came by and sniffed it but nobody was picked it up. Then came this little girl who watched it closely; she looked at us asking for an approval. She so badly wanted to take it, but her mother was watching her nodding her head. The obedient little girl spent a long time near the little teddy bear, and resisted taking it. This was a really charming moment, a beautiful eye contact with a strange and beautiful little girl.
