StatementI observe the world with a photographer’s eye and unapologetically bring an architect’s sense of craft and detail to my work. I paint the ordinary world around us - you can find commentary in the paintings if you wish. I paint watercolors that look like watercolors (preserving color transparency and preserving the white of the paper) and oils that look like oils (exploring the ability to mix color “wet-on-wet”).
