Statementof paper, paint, found plastic and scrapbooking and costuming materials. My focus from early on has been figurative. My narratives are influenced by a storytelling tradition of southern writers, surrealists painters, art brutte and the mystery of everyday life. I love learning about nature, mythology and Jungian psychology. My imaginative worlds are filled with anthropomorphic characters acting out their destinies.
