StatementInspired by the beautiful colors of butterflies. My entry is the result of many techniques I have learned experimenting with watercolors and water base casein, metallic inks, and lots of water. By applying many layers on yupo paper, the butterfly wings are translucent yet powerful. I hope my new works inspire the viewer to find in themselves a new beacon of transformation like feeling butterflies in our hearts.
