Ayris Hatton

I was trained classically at UC Berkeley and have 2 MA degrees in Fine Art and Art Therapy. My works have been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions and are in several collections, including Carlos Santana's.

I am currently publishing a book of poetry, prose, and artwork. I feel very fortunate to live and practice in the Bay Area.

When I paint with watercolors, the transparency, the vibrancy, and the need to collaborate with the unexpected hold endless allure.

I paint landscapes, figures, still life, and genre pieces in watercolor, oil, pastel, and multimedia. The variety of subjects and media seem to complement each other.
